For a 9kg gas exchange/refill with a home scale take the TAR Mass of the cylinder e.g., 11.2kg add 9kg being the contents purchased and this should be the total of the full cylinder with the purchased gas i.e. = 11.2kg (Tar Mass) + 9kg (contents) = 20.2kg

Some cylinders for 9kg content can have a TAR mass of 10.1kg, 11.2kg, 15kg etc. the most important thing to remember is that when you purchase gas you are purchasing the contents eg. 2.5kg, 5kg 7kg, 9kg, 19kg and 48kg to know if you have been supplied with the right contents, please refer to question 1.
